Launched in 2006 by Julie Wong, CMP

Julie Wong, CMP, leads the professional team at The Event Concierge.  Julie launched the company in 2006 to provide a level of event planning service that is unsurpassed in the industry.  With a proven track record working with resorts, private golf and country clubs, corporations and catering companies, Julie knew that she had gained the insight and expertise she needed to provide premier event planning and consultation services.  Through her personal and professional experiences with numerous events, plus her active involvement in the community, Julie saw a need for providing personal and customized meeting and event planning services to clients.  With her entrepreneurial spirit and passion for planning, she has been providing her sought after brand of planning services ever since.

Since its inception, The Event Concierge has developed extensive relationships with industry vendors and suppliers who share similar values and business philosophies, which has allowed the company to build a reputation for bringing incredible events to life.

As the business continues to grow since its inception and the demand for her services increase, Julie has been expanding The Event Concierge team with the addition of sales, support and operations staff.  Each team member brings their own strengths and skills to the company, as well as embodying The Event Concierge’s values of honesty, integrity and compassion.

Always active in the community and the industry, The Event Concierge is a member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI), accredited by the International Airlines Travel Agent Network (IATAN), is certified as a minority owned business, and received national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).

Julie continued her commitment to excellence in meeting and event planning to the next level in early 2012, when she received certification as a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) by the Convention Industry Council.  This designation recognizes individuals who have achieved the industry’s highest level of professionalism, and requires extensive knowledge of meeting and event design, financial management, project management, strategic planning, site management, marketing and professionalism.

Julie and her staff of professionals have worked with a wide range of clients locally and nationally.  Satisfied clients include companies from the technology, healthcare, hospitality, and real estate industry.

Today, The Event Concierge team remains committed to Julie’s original vision of providing a variety of highly personalized, flexible planning services to clients that result in the highest level of customer satisfaction.
